About

Isabella Campbell

Wales, United Kingdom

b. 1994

2017 - 2019 Falmouth University, MA Photography

Isabella Campbell's practice has been fundamentally influenced by the environment in which she was raised, in Pembrokeshire, Wales. From a very young age she became intuitively influenced by Japan and its culture, which has naturally shaped the way she thinks about photography and her creative approach in making work. These two influences reflect on her current photographic practice, which concerns the sense of place, temporality and perception. She is currently working on her first major body of work, which focuses on the phenomenology of the River Teifi found in West Wales that she lives beside. This will be publicised in the upcoming months.
